EB2 Petition Details and Process

Recently I returned to immigration research again and started reading more specifically about EB2 options. While browsing, I found a page that explains employment-based petitions including EB-2 NIW, EB-1A, EB-1B, and O-1 categories under I-140. It mentioned that they represent clients across all 50 states, including professionals, researchers, and organizations. I noticed they describe a method where each case is written individually based on a person’s career path and achievements. There was also information about using data from over sixty thousand approved cases to guide strategy. Another part talked about evaluating publications, funding history, and professional contributions when preparing petitions. Has anyone here experienced this kind of detailed preparation process for EB2 cases in practice?

Reading through that page, I remember noticing how they describe the idea of “national importance” in more specific terms. It wasn’t presented as a general concept but something that needs to be clearly connected to US priorities. There was also an explanation that broad statements are no longer enough under current review standards. I found it interesting how they mention increased scrutiny in certain types of cases and fields. That makes it seem like each petition needs more precise arguments than before. It didn’t feel like a simple checklist approach at all. I just read through it quickly but it gave a different impression of the process.
